It is with a heavy heart that we have to report the sudden passing of one of our long term members and supporters.
Tony Cain was part of our club for over 40 years and he will be greatly missed for his amazing sporting knowledge especially about the history of the FA Cup. He was not only a thirst of knowledge of sport but also a member of MENSA.
All our condolences and thoughts go out to Margie, Paula and Chris and their family
His funeral will be held at 1pm on Thursday 15th November 2018 @ St Johns the Evangelist Church, Fountains Road followed by cremation at Ainfield Crematorium. Family flowers only but donations if required to Claire House. Then celebration of his life will be at Firwood Bootle Cricket Club following.
